August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.

August 06, 2025The GATE 2026 schedule is now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Registration for GATE 2026 will begin on August 25 and will close on September 25 without a late fee, and on October 6 with a late fee. The exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be announced on March 19, 2026.

The HJD Institute of Technical Education Research was established in the year 2010 and is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The institute is also recognized by AICTE and certified by ISO. HJD Institute of Technical Education Research is the Kutch's first self-funded college of engineering to emerge under Swa. Kanji Karsan Halai Education & Charitable Trust with a mission to improve the present education systems.

HJD is well equipped with a variety of facilities such as the library, computer labs, Engineering Laboratories, cafeteria, sports, seminar hall, hostel etc. In addition to this, the institute has continuously updated its IT infrastructure. For the encouragement of the student the institute also has various student clubs such as Photography Club, Career Guidance Club, Music & Drama Club, NCC Club etc.
HJD Institute of Technical Education Research also has a full-fledged Placement Cell who coordinates the placement activities of the students' and arranges various campus interviews for the students. The placement cell mission is to attain maximum placement through devotion, attitude and full participation. The cell conducts training activities for the final year students mainly focusing on Career planning, Personality development, Off-site training, Industrial Visits, Entrepreneurship Development etc.
